Jess teamed up with Melbourne racing and bloodstock identity Mick Sharkie to purchase this filly from SA’s own Kambula Stud. She is by Darley’s young shuttle stallion Pinatubo, who was a champion 2YO in Europe that trained on to win another G1 at three. His first Australian-bred yearlings have sold up to $700,000 in 2025. This filly is out of the Fastnet Rock mare Tagreeda, who hails from the same female family as champion filly Alinghi.
Jess said “she is a beautiful filly with a lovely temperament and she appears to have plenty of scope to improve. She is obviously by a very exciting young sire that was a champion at 2YO so we will give her every chance to race early as well.”
