This was Jess’ favourite filly in the catalogue at the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale and she was rapt to take her home. She inspected her three or four times in the space of a few days and loved her more every time she came of our the box. Physically and mentally, she handled the high-pressure environment of a sale extremely well and appeared to thrive on it. She is by Nicconi, who is best known as the sire of G1 champion Nature Strip. Jess has a soft spot for the breed as she won the SA Magic Millions 2YO Classic on Nicconi filly Scorched Earth. This filly is out of the winning half-sister to 2YO Stakes winner Mildred. It’s a pedigree that suggests the filly can get up and racing as a 2YO herself and Jess will be educating and preparing her as such.
