Searle Callanan Racing is a family run business with husband and wife Gary and Nichole Searle and daughter Brianna Callanan.

Searle Callanan Racing is ideally located on the Gawler Racecourse with great facilities such as our own galloping treadmill, swimming pool right outside the back gate, round yard and bullring as well as the use of the Gawler sand and grass tracks.

We are a hands on business which allows us to give each horse the individual attention they need and keep our owners up to date with their horses movements.

Gary has always loved racing, starting as an amateur jockey riding in picnic races. His father trained and Gary eventually moved to Alice Springs where he got his trainers license in 1982.

Nichole grew up in a racing family as well. Her grandfather and great grandfather trained racehorses leading her to become a track rider before heading to Alice Springs with Gary and joining him in his training career.

Brianna was always destined to join the family business. Working before and after school in the stables. Brianna eventually left home to work for Richard Jolly as a stable hand, working her way up to foreperson. She was there for six years before coming home to train along side her parents.

Between the three of them they all bring different aspects to the business which helps them get the best out of each individual horse!
