Seyers Racing is ideally situated on the Murray River at Murray Bridge, South Australia. Only minutes from the Murray Bridge Race Course and one hour drive from Adelaide’s metropolitan tracks.

As well as the great facilities at the Murray Bridge Race Course, including uphill track and swimming pool, we have use of the Woods and Forest trail riding tracks, a galloping treadmill and a horse walker, which allows for variance in our horse training regime.

Seyers Racing is a boutique training facility which allows us to give individual attention to our horses and provide our owners with up to date information.

Matthew grew up with horses with his father training a few horses at Morphetville.

At the age of 6, moving to Queensland with his family, Matthew and his brother helped out on a rural property mustering cattle which they enjoyed immensely.

After returning to South Australia, Matthew gained great work experience with some top Adelaide trainers including David Hayes & Peter Jolly.

Matthew started to break in and pre-train for numerous top trainers in South Australia & interstate, while also training one or two horses for himself.

With the stable continuing to grow, Matthew will always keep to a team where he can be as hands on as possible.
