Justin Potter is a stalwart of the South Australian Racing Industry in a riding career of more than 9300 rides and close to 900 winners, while his training career has only just started with only a handful of a runners from his Strathalbyn stable.

Potter says. “I am very passionate about my horses and really enjoy the training side of the industry. Based in Strathalbyn offers the ability to use the local racecourse, but we like to mix up our training and stimulate out horses by using the Murray Bridge Racing Club to swim our horses. We take the opportunity to use different environments like the Oakbank Racecourse and use the forest to change up a horse’s routine while having the water at nearby Goolwa as another tool in training. We are a 100% family-run stable with my oldest daughter riding work and caring for the horses with me.
